Addressing the issue of solar panel landfill is very important as many solar panels and inverters being installed by others are failing well before their life expectency.
REA Solar have developed a recycling program to recondition these solar panels and repurpose them to provide free power for those in need.
We are working with organisations locally and around the world to support communities less fortunate to give them access to free clean solar energy.
Youth education of renewable energy and sustainability is an important part of our acceleration to a sustainable future.
Through sport we are able to educate students on the benefits of creating a sustainable future and to showcase new and exciting technologies.
We are proud to be part of the local sporting communities and support many local clubs such as Redland City FC Football Club and Redlands Rays Baseball Club.
The special projects division of REA work on technologies that can assist in the acceleration to a sustainable future.
By creating awareness and excitement in areas that are typically dominated by ‘old world’ thinking we can showcase alternatives that are more advanced and have a positive impact.
Projects such as our solar powered bus network with Transdev and our solar powered electric race car with Porsche help inspire a new generation.
